1989: Naomi & The Segos - This is where my full-time ministry began in August, 1989. (L-R) Roger Speegle, Eddie Peterson, Vernon Reader, John Lanier and Naomi Sego Reader (seated)
1990: Naomi & The Segos - Sixteen year old Lee Lumley joins as the pianist and baritone vocalist in early 1990, replacing Roger Speegle.
1991: Naomi & The Segos - And this is the group in 1991, as featured on the Gospel Voice magazine cover.

1993: John & Angela - I had recorded an album with my sister, Angela Stewart, in the fall of 1992. This one of the pictures from the photo shoot for that album.
1993: John & Angela -In the spring of 1993, Angela and I launched a six-month tour to promote our new duet album. This was one of the publicity photos.
1993: Tony Gore & Majesty - Months before the news was ever publicized, Tony Gore & Majesty was formed. This is a snapshot of the newly formed group entering a Nashville studio to begin recording our first album. (Tony Gore, Calvin Thornton, Jamie Spaulding and John Lanier)
1993: Tony Gore & Majesty -Following the 1993 National Quartet Convention, rumors circulated about a new powerhouse gospel group being formed. This December '93 magazine ad confirmed that the rumors were true.
1994: Tony Gore & Majesty - This January '94 ad revealed the new group and announced our first radio single from the forthcoming debut recording, "Cool, Clear Water." By March, 'Thank God' was one of the top five songs in the nation.
1994: Tony Gore & Majesty -"Memories Made New" was our second recording. In 1995, our third recording was released - "All Access LIVE."
1996: The Solo Ministry Begins - August of '96 began a new season as a soloist. This recording, "Discover The Joy" launched John Lanier Ministries.
1996: John Lanier Ministries - My first year at the National Quartet Convention as a soloist.
1997: John Lanier Ministries - I did my first west coast tour in 1997, beginning at the Selland Arena in Fresno, CA. I am pictured here with my management staff: Randall Wilds, Vickie Sturgill, and Rhonda Sturgill.

1998: John Lanier Ministries - Reunited for a guest appearance with Naomi & The Segos at Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY.
1999: John Lanier Ministries - What better way to celebrate my 10th anniversary than to give honor to the lady who gave me my start? This special 10th anniversary release was my tribute to Naomi, featuring many songs she made popular.
1999: John Lanier Ministries - Commemorating my 10th anniversary in full-time ministry, the Gospel Voice magazine featured me on the cover of their June '99 issue.
